These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern enrollment, participation, and use of services provided by ASNY FLSD Training School (“ASNY,” “the School,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing this website, enrolling in the FLSD training program, or submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in full.
- Nature of Services
ASNY FLSD Training School provides a 31-hour Fire & Life Safety Director (FLSD) training course delivered live online via Google Meet. The program is instructional only and is intended to prepare students for the FLSD certification process administered by the Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY). ASNY does not issue FDNY licenses and does not control FDNY examination outcomes or certification decisions. - No Guarantees
Enrollment in this program does not guarantee: Passing any FDNY examination Issuance of an FLSD license Employment, job placement, or wage level Any references to career opportunities, earnings, or job prospects are illustrative only and not promises of outcome. All hiring decisions are made by independent third-party employers. - Attendance Requirements
Students are required to attend 100% of scheduled training hours. Attendance is verified using Google Meet system logs, instructor roll call, and timestamped participation checks. Failure to meet attendance requirements may result in disqualification from exams and withholding of the School Certificate of Completion without refund. - Tuition & Payment Terms
Tuition may be paid either in full or through a Stripe-administered installment plan, if offered at the time of enrollment. All payments are subject to Stripe’s payment processing terms. Tuition is non-refundable once training has begun. Failure of installment payments may result in removal from the program. - Refund & Transfer Policy
All tuition payments are non-refundable once training begins. A one-time transfer to a future cohort may be granted at the sole discretion of ASNY if written notice is received at least five (5) business days prior to the course start date. Missed classes are not refundable or creditable. - Student Conduct
Students are expected to maintain professional conduct during all sessions. Disruptive behavior, misuse of the virtual platform, falsification of attendance, or violation of instructions may result in immediate dismissal without refund. - Certification Disclaimer
ASNY issues only a School Certificate of Completion upon successful fulfillment of course requirements. FDNY certification requires passing FDNY-administered exams (including N-85 and Z-89) and submission of an approved employment verification letter. Final certification authority rests solely with the FDNY. - Limitation of Liability
ASNY shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the program, including but not limited to exam failure, loss of employment opportunity, or regulatory decisions made by third parties. - Intellectual Property
All training materials, presentations, documents, and content provided by ASNY are proprietary and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without written consent. - Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York. By enrolling, you agree to resolve disputes individually and waive participation in any class action claims. - Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling in the ASNY FLSD Training Program and submitting payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.
